Kaagan Dance Theatre Collective's Objective

.Revive the diminishing history, culture and arts of the Kaagan tribe of Davao Oriental.
.Showcase the output of the newly trained perfomers of the Kaagan Dance Theatre Collective from their workshop on perfoming arts and write shops on the genealogy and oral tradition of the tibe.
.Inculcate awareness of the people of Davao Oriental especially the young generation on how the Kaagan existed, how they lived before and how they are living in these modern times; what things distinguished the tribe among other tribes in the archipelago especially the Islamaized ones; and the evolutionj of the tribe's fashion.
.Invite other existing tribes in the region for a better cultural understanding and to inculcate the spirit of brotherhood on which they can have the genealogy connection.
.Promote Davao Oriental as a center of the cultural revival of the Kaagan tribe in the Philippines.
.Appeal for a local recognition from the Congressional, Provincial, the NCIP and the Department of Education for the Kaagan Dance Theatre Collective as cultural-motivated you8ngt individuals geared with the determination to pursue their dreams and ambitions thru their talents agilities for a better Davao Oriental and a better Philippines.
