I'am the student aware of culture and also a member of the Kaagan Dance Theatre Collective (KDTC) and we are promoting the Kaagan tribe here in Davao Oriental. Kaagan tribe has a distinct unique and colorful heritage that needs to be preserve and to be handed down generation to generation. Nowadays, youths do not have the interest of their culture and tradition most of them are ashamed of their identity, their race even their practices. It is now high time awaken their young minds and open their eyes to the importance and beauty of their culture.
